Abstract

The MHB concept is generic, It depends neither on the type of mycorrhizal symbiosis nor the on the taxonomy of the MHB strains. Synergetic interaction of mycorrhiza fungi and MHB leading to enhanced nodulation ,mineral uptake and plant growth have been studied .In this study ,the percentage of AM infection was correlated with chitin content of the Arachis hypogaea L. Plant root which was coinoculated with MHB and AMF.
