Submission Checklist
- Have you carefully read and prepared the manuscript as per the Instructions to Authors guidelines?
- The complete manuscript should be properly formatted in Microsoft Word format and include each and every section. Ensure the manuscript is spell and grammar checked and that the words do not join together. Figures must be embedded, in place, in your manuscript-text file for the reviewer’s reference.
- A title shouldn’t contain the ‘&’ symbol and other non-standard abbreviations.
- All author’s names, their complete affiliations and ORCID IDs are provided in the manuscript. Ensure every author who has significantly contributed to a manuscript is given credit as an author.
- One author is designated as the corresponding author, and his/her email address is included.
- Abstract should not be more than 250 words.
- Keywords (minimum 4) are provided in addition to those present in the title.
- Tables must be provided in an editable format, such as .docx.
- Each figure must also be separately supplied in JPEG (.jpg) or PNG format with a resolution of at least 300 DPI. For figures with more than one panel, panels should be clearly indicated using labels (A), (B), (C), (D), etc.
- Ensure that each table and figure is properly numbered and cited in the text in sequential order.
- In-text citations are numbered in superscript and in order of citation (the first citation is 1, the next is 2 and so on).
- Ensure all sources are appropriately cited. All references mentioned in the reference list are to be arranged numerically and are cited in the text and vice versa. References and in-text citations are formatted according to JPAM’s requirements, i.e., according to the AMA (American Medical Association) reference style.
- Whether the manuscript is posted as preprints on any preprint server? If yes, please provide details.
- Page numbers have been included on each page.
