Abstract

A series of pyridines, pyrimidinone, oxazinones, and their derivatives (1-14) were synthesized and screened as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) agents using abietic acid as the starting material. The pharmacological screening showed that many of these compounds have good follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) activity comparable to Pergonal® as reference drug. The detailed synthetic pathways of obtained compounds and Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) activity were reported.
